Trips or incidents that went not as planned are the most we remember

I was living in Chennai when my sister and cousin visited me for 3 days to explore Chennai city.

We started our day with an intention of roaming all over the Chennai city, so went for shopping at sowcarpet which is one of the best places for shopping in Chennai.
Shopping is always fun and we enjoy doing so, that uplifts us.
When we felt we were done, left home and spent rest of the day on gossiping.

The final day has come to their trip then we visited to T.nagar, since my guests had a craving for shopping. Then many things happened to our surprise. If you know about Chennai city then you might aware of the crowd at T.nagar where people ram onto each other especially on weekend and I still imagine that feeling it causes in that Chennai weather. As everyone is aware of how girls shop... we were so indulged in shopping and my family was not ready to leave their bags due for billing despite the long queues at the billing desks, though we were running out of time.

Finally we managed to come out of those busy malls and roads and running to catch our bus to reach my flat at navalur. And I was literally counting on each second waiting for the driver to pick up his steering. We got late by the time we reached our flat, in hurry we grabbed our luggage and caught a bus towards koyambedu but we had only one hour left. As I know hardly we reach koyambedu from navalur in such limited time my heart started pulsating, the driver might have a mood to listen old classic music as he was driving bus in that pace. And I was sure they are going to miss the bus if we continue here.

Soon we dropped off the bus after thoraipakkam and got into an auto explaining him our target to catch the bus. At any cost we had to reach there in half an hour. And he was trying to convince us with the fact that it takes at least 45 mins. By his grace we reached there on time. We thanked him a lot. He made it..:-).

We couldn't find the bus we were looking for and got to know it is already left from the station but we were left with few landmarks at that time. We were trying to find the way but no one could help us with those landmarks. But after around 15 minutes we got into an auto to catch the bus and all of a sudden I caught a vision of the same registration number on a bus which was halted around a km away from the station. Then I started screaming Aww.... STOP..STOP...there is the bus.

Finally they boarded the bus but everyone in the bus was angry since they had to wait for us. Throughout the chase whenever we tried to contact the driver he was hesitated to answer the call since he was worried of his mobile roaming...ARGGGG. Then my petty sister offered him a recharge and pleased him to pick the call.

Soon after I returned to the bus station I was shocked to know there were no buses available at that time to return my flat. I called my friend for help who stays at Anna nagar. He said he will drop me at Thiruvanmiyur, from where I can board Pondicherry bus which stops right before my apartment. Then I felt relaxed and saw an officer working there coming to me and asked 'where you want to go'? when I told him navalur he said no buses will run after this time since it will be very late to finish a roundtrip. Then he said he will talk to respective people and try to arrange a bus to navalur but cannot be sure. Then I felt that would be more than enough. Later they announced one last bus which goes till navalur and I was thankful to them and called my friend who is on the way to station and informed him to return home.

Right after I got into the bus I realized I don't have enough money to spend on ticket because we spent all the money on shopping. I tried to withdraw from ATM but after seeing a long queue I returned to the bus thinking I may miss that last bus.

By thinking I can get down on the way middle where my friend stays (Thoraipakkam) in worst case, counting on the money how much was left.
Since I was not sure how much I need to thoraipakkam I asked the guy beside me. I realized that he understood my situation soon after he offered me the money that I need. Then I gently said no, again counting on the money searching in the hidden places of my bag literally trying my luck.

Luckily I found exact amount that I needed to reach my flat...WOOOHH.. that’s why I love about the money we keep at hidden places and forget.

Even though it caused lot of agony then, it is fun to recall now for a hearty laugh...HAHAHA

Then on wards catching a bus has always been a different experience for me. JUST KIDDING.......
